Support The Ankle Joint
The comfort of the support around the ankle joint is provided by the round structure of the bamboo fibres which are non-irritating and don't crease when worn. The product helps to support and protect the joint and surrounding soft tissue during activity and exercise.
Ankle Compression & Support
The unique composition and intricate weaving techniques used in the production of the ankle support help apply a comfortable yet critical level of compression. The yarn also has a cross section filled with micro gaps which allows the fabric to breath and eliminate sweat build up during use like running, all while continuing to provide you support while being worn.

How does the ankle support work?
Bearhug use bamboo charcoal in a unique composition within their Ankle supports. Bamboo charcoal supports have been scientifically proven to increase blood flow through the joint, foot and achilles tendon compared to ordinary supports.
This increased blood flow drives oxygenated blood to the ankle joint flushing out any toxins in the foot which helps your ligaments, tendons and soft tissue repair quicker while providing pain relief and reducing inflammation and swelling for activities like running and walking.

Help for my heel
I had a recurrence of an old Achilles tendon injury years ago and it was slowing me down after a hip replacement. I sent for the Medium size Bearhug and really felt the difference when wearing it. Not the easiest thing to get off , though! But it is worth the effort and I am hoping to be striding out confidently soon. Thanks to Bearhug.
