I have 4 different knee supports, but this is by far the best support my knees have had. My TKR has been cancelled 4 times for various reasons, that I decided I was going to find another option. I bought a pair of trainers with great cushioning for my ankle and knee, and the added Bearhug supports are helping me unbelievably after trying others. It holds my meniscus in place , which has stopped my knee wobble and caused me to fall. Fingers crossed I can keep my knees! I’m 76 so no need to rush around!
Got it for my partner has has been struggling with his ankle for a few weeks be and definitely tell a difference since using the ankle support. He said he would definitely recommend it to anyone.
After damaging a tendon in the spring, the summer has been a struggle in recovery and now I run with my Bearhugs on, I am back to running pain free - wish I’d bought them sooner!

I got the calf and ankle supports a month ago and they have helped re hab my Achilles tendon to the point where I can fully load the foot and I was able to complete a half marathon with no discomfort. Totally recommend

Tried many ankle supports over the last 30 years, and this one is by far the very best.
Great support, my ankle survived a week exploring in Switzerland with very little pain. Great customer service as the first one was a bit small, smooth exchange process thank you and the replacement fits perfect. Would recommend.
Following a serious ankle injury these have been fundamental in my recovery and ongoing training. On my third set and can’t rate them highly enough. Getting me over the line of several Ironman races!

Excellent. Exceeded my expectations. Fits really well and more supportive than i might have imagined. Having (at 43) severly twisted my ankle skateboarding at the skatepark this has been a god send and allows me to skate again (gently)
When my knees need it i wont hesitate getting some more products.
Great stress free product pre, during and post any run or walk that I choose to do.No chafing,rashes or rubbing.Eases any stress circulated during exercise,helps blood flow and decrease s any swelling that sometimes occur.
After doing some ligament damage to my ankle (going over on a tree root to the side) I needed a support especially with a few hikes in the diary.
I ordered the Bearhug ankle support and it does give in the case my ankle a hug. My ankle feels supported in it
My only feedback would be the hem that goes around the foot within the shoe could use being a lot smoother, I struggle to run with the support on as it creates a pressure point across the top of my foot.
For the walking and hiking that I do it is fine.
I would recommend this product but I would like to see as suggested a smoother hem.
Normally I’m very sceptical about supports and their use. However….
I have been lightly impressed with the one I purchased from Bear Hug following ankle reconstruction.
I think I now need one for my knee!!
I have a very bad arthritic ankle and I have tried a lot of ankle supports over the time. None of which have been as comfortable or as fitted as well as the Bearhug. It also gives me extra support but feels very light whilst wearing it.
So light that you forget that you have it on.

Brilliant as soon as I put them on could feel a difference in my ankle. I had ankle surgery two and half years ago and still suffer with swelling and pains. As soon as I put the bear hug on could feel the support in the right places. It has helped me to feel supported and reduced my ankle swelling. Thankful I came across the add and the other reviews to go for it.
I was to say the least delighted with my ankle support. Having suffered from mild Achilles tendinitis with a half marathon coming up, my physio recommended support and I chose Bear Hug. I felt no pain at all and feel very supported!
After using these for a few weeks for a few hours each weekend to park run and cycle they have helped with my achilles pain however they are already starting to click and bobble and threads are coming loose. Very expensive for what does not seem to last very long.
Having suffered either soft tissue damage in my foot / a stress fracture, for the first 3 weeks I could hardly walk. The thought of getting back to 10+ miles @ a pretty quick pace seemed impossible.

This was recommended to me and I used it after taking off moon boot due to fractured fibula. Gave great support and is helping me get back to normal walking. Keeps area cool and comfortable to wear. Highly recommended. Would definitely try other products if needed.
