Due to a broken wrist which had to be pinned, my physiotherapist recommended I buy a Bearhug wrist support to enable me to start playing tennis again. I have now returned to coaching, and am beginning to hit gentle shots. The Bearhug support definitely helps and is comfortable to wear.

I struggle with my joints and as I’ve got older my wrists are weaker when I’m in the gym, so moves like wall balls and barbell work became pretty painful. A fellow crossfitter was wearing Bearhug knee straps and wrist straps and extolling their virtues! I was recently surprised to receive a fibromyalgia diagnosis, and learned that compression can help with various pain points. So I ordered the Bearhug wrist sleeves and have actually gotten my hands back! I have much less pain (in combination with various exercises and medication), can get through a whole workday without losing function due to pain, and actually have grip strength again. Definitely getting a backup pair, as well as sleeves for other problem joints

I brought the wrist supports to replace some old thing I've relied on for years but which has gone slack! I need wrist supports for skiing - I use my poles a lot! - and they really did the job. I thought at first they were too tight and cutting off circulation to my fingers because they were freezing, but it turned out it was simply freezing cold.

I'm impressed. I have an issue with the joint in my wrist which can become incredibly painful. I was sceptical that a bit of fabric was going to make any difference however my wrist support is one of the best purchases I have made. I attend Crossfit regularly and there are a lot of movements which make my wrist pain flare up. My wrist straps were not really helping but wearing my Bear Hug underneath my sturdier wrist straps makes a massive improvement during exercise. It also massively reduces the negative effect the exercise has on my joint when I keep it on afterwards. I've found myself wearing it pretty much all the time now as it makes my day to day life a lot easier.

tennis elbow / rsi symptoms mostly gone after a few weeks wearing the wristbands whilst typing or doing activities such as playing the guitar that places strain upon my wrists/arms. V comfortable. Snug-fit but you get used to that and they look cool! Overall thoroughly recommend them.

I have no wrist issues as such. I do however indulge in long distance walking using two walking poles and sometimes at the end of the day my wrists can feel a bit sore. So I bought two Bearhug wrist supports and I have found that they give my wrists comfort and support and my wrists no longer feel sore or stiff at the end of a long day. I would think they would be beneficial to any active sports person where support of the wrists would be desirable. I know I feel more comfortable whilst wearing them and I would recommend wearing them if you have any wrist issues at all.
