After simultaneous knee and calf injuries, my Bearhug supports helped me complete the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k with my daughter, without any issues.

I bought a pair of medium sleeves having measured my calves as advised. The right one is fine but the left one is really uncomfortable. It feels far too tight and the muscle on the outside of my calf becomes painful. I use them for walking. So I bought a pair of large size sleeves. The right one is OK although the medium is probably better for my right calf. The left is still uncomfortable but less so. To be fair to Bearhug I have only done one or two short walks to see which is better for me. I am not a runner and I don’t have shin splints. I do feel a pain in the rear of my calf after a long day walking in my boots 🥾 which is why I bought these sleeves. I also have Bearhug Knee Suppression/Support Sleeves and they are brilliant 😀 I have walked extensively in them and I can highly recommend them. But I think I will need to persevere with the calf sleeve supports and see what works best for me 😀 Incidentally they do fit snuggly and they stay in place throughout my walking day. I think they may be of more help to a runner 🏃♂️ with shin splints. Apart from the issue with my left calf, I find the Bearhug Supports to be warm and comfortable and they give me a feeling of reassurance and after a while I forget that I am wearing them. All in all a great product, maybe the best on the market and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has any type of sports injury. I am a 76 year old male and with my Bearhug Supports I hope to keep walking for some years yet 😀
Used one on my right leg for the London Landmaarks Half Marathon after I injured my calf 10 days prior to the run.

Placed the order and unfortunately the wrong size was sent. Customer service was amazing and sent the correct size immediately even before I had returned the wrong size.
I had purchased calf compression sleeves from another retailer but didn’t really help too much with shin splint pain.
Whilst it isn’t an instant fix bearhug we’re definitely better. The pain was reduced and were super comfortable. Highly recommend and certainly worth paying the extra.
Wore them for match on Sunday worked wonders been struggling for weeks with shin splints from training 4 times a week on 4g wears them all the time now for training and matches
I wear these for running and playing pickleball instead of compression tights as I suffer with varicose veins. They give reassuring support and stay in place without being too tight. They wash okay as well. Very pleased.

Always had calf issues at the marathon distance. Worse these for the first time on race day and had no calf issues. Amazing product and worked spot on for me
Great purchase, Bearhug calf supports did me proud climbing the Welsh 3 peaks for Ty Hafan charity. My calfs were in tip-top shape...pity about my knees though with all the descending. I might need knee supports next!

I already have the knee support from a previous injury and needed a calf sleeve following a slight injury so bought these , they offer just the right support , are a very comfortable fit and give support and confidence when running .
I have suffered from posterior shin splints for some time now. I visited a few physiotherapists who genuinely got me halfway to recovery. I tried at least 5 shin supports. All fell down and did not help my issue. I have only worn the bear hug three times now, but incredibly I have almost no pain. I would say it has improved by 80%. Plus, the support stays in place. Very happy and impressed.
Tried severall options before Bear Hug including from the GP to manage painful legs. Too tight or fell down. Too hot and uncomfortable
These Bear Hugs although early days are comfortable, and stay in place without discomfort. Longer term see how they help with the varicose viens and support my running
Hi, I tend to suffer from cramp on long days out. This year I was taking part in ultra trail snowdonia and I used the calf and quad compression. While the cramp still came eventually it was a lot later and so much more manageable. Can’t really fault the product. Absolutely brilliant saved me out there and a few other that I know of also taking part in this years event.

Have had calf tightness so decided to get 2 bearhug calf sleeves. I did my 1st marathon in them at Milton Keynes bank holiday Monday. And got around the course averaging 10min mile. Without a calf problem. very pleased I wore them.
Very good tore calf muscle grade 1 3weeks before Brighton marathon. Had tried some small runs 5miles but still pain. Always wore compression knees supports but were well used and old. Decide to buy 2 bearhug knee supports and 2 calf supports and see if it would help. I got through first 5 miles without pain, so kept going and made it to the end and completed the marathon.

Usually, after running or walking long distances, especially in the heat, I get very swollen feet, ankles and calves. I wore these on Sunday for the Brighton Marathon, and when I finished, I still had ankles! No swelling, no pain, no blood pooling! I didn’t even have to loosen off my shoes! I will be ordering another pair for work (I work long shifts in a hospital) and will also be wearing them on flights. I’ve recommended them to some friends too who also have the same problem.
Size wise, I was in between a medium and a large, so I went for the large, as recommended. They fitted perfectly, didn’t roll down or cut in. Also, didn’t feel too hot either despite the heat!
The only thing that would be nice is a few more colour options!
I'm training for the Butcombe Ultra and suffered a hamstring problem in my peak training phase. The thigh sleeves aided my recovery and allowed to get back to training more quickly. Good quality products.
I purchased the calf guards as I was carrying a slight strain in my right calf prior to competing in Hyrox London. I trained a couple of times with them and found it supported my soleus muscle
The fit was perfect and since then I have purchased other item from Bear Hug

I struggle with shin splints and soreness in my calf when I run. This has been a game changer for me. I still get pain, but no where near where it was before. The support is great, it's really comfortable and helps me to feel less anxious about pushing myself that bit more.
I had been training to complete Hyrox London and whilst training managed to get a small pull in my calf
I had seen a number of adverts and some great reviews around Bear Hug and invested in a pair of calf guards
The quality is really good and the sizing is true to size. During the race I forgot about the guard on my leg and my partner and I managed a respectable time in our first Hyrox race

Held my soleus together for the Cardiff half marathon. Light but strong - a perfect support which stopped me from breaking down during training and the race itself. One less thing to think about on the day. Got the pair in case my other calf played up!
I was a sceptic until I brought bearhug - having suffered numerous injuries in 2024 which meant stopping running on and for a few months. Bear hug got me back!
First it was the ankle support, and then into the calf supports for my constant flare ups of calf strain.
Running with them on gave support and comfort / while wearing them after (even to bed!) helped to quicken the healing process.
