Who Are You?
I started running during lockdown for charity as my child hood friend passed away. I had no running experience and set myself the task of running 2000km in a year. It wasn’t long before I started getting injuries and wrecked my knee where I had it heavily strapped to carry on. I swa @getabearhug and reached out asking if they would kindly send one out to see if it would help with my injury and they obliged to support my challenge!
The knee support worked miracles not only did it give me the support to continue and complete my challenge but it also got me to go further helping me complete a 100km run. Now my knee is great and no longer require the support.
I mostly play football now and go to the gym 7 days a week. A good few of my football team mates wear Bearhug supports and rave about them and I’m happy to wear the Bearhug clothes and supports when I’m in the gym and proud to say I’m definitely on of the pack 🐻
Not only have I become physically stronger but I have become mentally stronger & more positive all the while continuing to push the limits with the reassurance of the Bearhug supports.
What Is Your Achievement?
Over the past two years I've challenged myself to be the best version I can be and push my body further and further. By going to the gym I’ve seen some great results. My bench press on has gone from 60kg to 125kg at 79kg body weight. Not only have I become physically stronger but I have become mentally stronger & more positive all the while continuing to push the limits with the reassurance of the Bearhug supports.
How does Bearhug help?
